1)what is the theme of the game , can i be on any theme
2)"Submission to the hackathon is dependent on your participating category. Game designers will be expected to submit a completed game with all relevant files and assets for review. Participants in the 2D/3D art design and modeling categories will submit their completed projects to the hackathon" - what are the other categories or there are only two categories
3) if i am to participate as a art designer what do i have to submit , my created models and animations along with my game design

1) No theme for this year
2) There is also an option to create game development tools (3d/2d models fall under the same category).
3) Depends on what you are creating. If you are making a game with a team, the whole team would submit all the codes as well as the final product with a small pitch and brief overview as indicated on the starter package.
However if your final product is a 3d/2d model, you will need to submit the models and a brief overview.
